To strengthen and develop by adding a further slide show you need to provide :
1) Stronger examples. i.e. if you were analysing similarities between two of the texts then you need to root your analysis in the text and provide visual examples by including screen shots in your analysis. This is important.
2) To further develop your analysis: you could reference other noir thrillers which use similar conventions to include screen shots to provide strong comparisons.
4) For an even higher mark: on page 6 of the yellow coursework booklet are the generic conventions of noir thrillers. Identify how the director in either LA Confidential, Casina Royale or in the computer game L.A. Noir uses or develops the conventions of the thriller genre.
The examiners are keen to see students develop a case study and this would be splendid preparation when researching generic conventions you wish to sue in your own opening to a thriller film.
DO NOT DELETE YOUR CASE STUDY BECAUSE EXAMINERS LIKE TO SEE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND YOUR ANALYSIS.
A small revision re using media language, when a character is narrating the action this is called a "voice over".
I suggest you develop your case study over the next 4 weeks if you wish to raise your grade. Could you email me if you have added any further analysis/points. Remember closely reference examples.
Your blog is promising Luke and indicates strong commitment to media studies.
